About the advisor
I regularly sit on boards as a non-executive director, getting involved in any and all areas a board plays a key role: the definition of the strategy, monitoring and mitigation of key risks, financial performance and reporting, human capital, etc. including capital raising.
Alternatively, I sometimes work with early ventures as a independent advisor to the board and/or to the senior executive team too, particularly on financial, strategic and governance matters.
Success story
For a number of years I invested into early ventures in the FinTech and InsurTech sectors, I mentored early ventures going through accelerators run by Techstars and StartupBootcamp and I provided independent advice to early ventures all across Europe, Asia and Africa. In recent years, I have been increasingly focused non-exec director roles (like my current roles with Global Parametrics in UK and Agritask in Israel) through which I find I can add more value by being more involved in a wider variety of aras.
